History

The company was founded in 1989 in an association between Adiscolor - Aditivos Químicos e Corantes, Lda. - and Baerlocher GmbH, acquiring the name BAERLOCHER QUÍMICA PORTUGUESA.
In 1994 it was renamed to BQP - Químicos, thus keeping the initials of the names that formed the original.

The activity of BAERLOCHER QUÍMICA PORTUGUESA began with the essential purpose of reporting and assist the Portuguese PVC Composites Industry, with the very high standards of quality of Baerlocher's products, with a great investment of the Group on the Research and Development sectors and consequent ability to provide technical support to their Clients, etc.

In a short period of time the BQP - Químicos activity has reached sale levels over 50% of the total market consumption, values that we have always mantained and have even been developed in every level.

That being the case, we will make all the technical and commercial efforts towards a Future every day more remarkable, always in conjuction with our Clients.
